Income-Based Rate Scale
At the YMCA, our goal is to encourage individual health and
well-being by making our programs and services accessible to
all, no matter the income level. We now use the Income-Based
Rate Scale (IBRS)– which means our membership prices will be
based on your household income. Members with a household
income of $55,000 or above will pay our current membership
rates. Members with a household income below $55,000 will pay
a discounted membership rate based on where their household
income falls on the IBRS. Just bring a copy of your 1040 to the
membership desk.
Payment Options
Our monthly draft system is a convenient way to pay for
membership. Upon joining, the joiner fee and fi rst month’s draft
are due. With your permission, an automatic withdrawal from your
checking account or Visa/Mastercard/Discover card will begin the
next month. Bank draft memberships are not annual contracts
and rates are subject to change at any time. Membership is
continuous until such time that you physically come into the
facility to cancel it. This must take place at least 15 days prior to
your draft date. Drafts are done on the 1st or 15th of the month,
unless that date falls on a weekend, in which case the draft would
occur on the preceding Friday. The joiner fee is nonrefundable.
Credit / Refund Policy
If the participant cancels no more than 7 days into a class, he/
she may receive a credit, minus $5 towards future services OR a
refund check, less a $15 service charge per cancelled class OR a
refund to the credit card (if paid for with a credit card), less a $15
service charge per cancelled class. All credit/refund requests are
subject to Program Directors approval.
Guest Privileges
Members are provided with six guest passes every year that
can be used at any YMCA within the Association. In addition, the
YMCA allows members to purchase up to three guest passes per
visit for family and friends. Members must accompany guest(s).
Guests are limited to three (3) guest passes and will be required
to present guest pass, photo identification and fill out a facility
waiver before using any YMCA facility.
