The Board of Directors of the McCormick Tribune YMCA is an informed, working group of business, professional and civic leaders with the responsibility for the oversight and strategic direction of the Center.

YMCA Boards have three basic purposes:

• To ensure the Center's mission is implemented and achieved by actively participating in the organization's governance structures.
• To ensure sufficient resources through fundraising and effective management.
• To promote public/community awareness, confidence and acceptance.
